Nomikos Centre from Afar This photo shows the main, salmon-colored building of the Nomikos Conference Centre, as seen from the lower part of the town of Fira. The scientific portions of AREADNE Conferences take place at the Centre, along with welcoming receptions. The Centre includes additional structures behind the main building seen here where coffee breaks and working lunches are served, and the poster sessions are held. The white and cream buildings to the right are not part of the Centre. The low gray stone wall running across the image is the main footpath that winds from one end of Fira through Firostefani, and up to the far end of Imerovigli.
