Travel Grants and Scholarships Historically, the AREADNE Conferences have not offered travel grants or scholarships. Instead, we work very hard to keep the student and post-doc registration fees as low as possible for everyone. The first place to check for travel support is the student's or post-doc's home institution which often has departmental funds to attend conferences. Additionally, scholarships and travel grants are at times available from institutions such as the ones listed below, some of which are specific to women or minorities. Note that many of these institutions do not have publicly aannounced travel grants, but that funds can be sometimes available upon special application. For 2012, thanks to a grant from the NSF, we will be able provide some support to US students and post-docs. The exact amount will be determined by the number of requests, but is anticipated at USD 300 to 400 per person, and will take the form of a travel reimbursement provided after the conference.
