Tomato Spoon Sweet Although the Greek notion of fruit after a meal does not match the typical American dessert of a treat rich in both fat and sugar, the Greeks do like heavily sweet preserves with their afternoon coffees. These spoon sweets are popular with young children, and are typically served with a glass of cold water. The photo here shows an unusual spoon sweet, made from the densely flavorful small tomatoes local to Santorini. Copyright 2012, J. S. Pezaris AREADNE | Email | Search | Archive |
