Yellow Church The outer rim of Santorini often gets overlooked because of the stunning caldera views in the other direction, however, the soft-sloped eastern shore has many attractions not the least of which are the beaches. Slightly inland from the sandy edge there are small villages and, from time to time, one stumbles upon the occasional monastery or church such as the one shown here, with its unusual bright yellow exterior.
