Scholarships and Travel Grants

Historically, the AREADNE Conferences have not offered travel grants or scholarships. Instead, we work very hard to keep the student and post-doc registration fees as low as possible for everyone. This page will be updated should any funds become available, so we recommend checking back from time to time.

For students and post-docs in Greece, we will be able provide some support for 2018 thanks to a generous grant from the NIMA Founcation. Please contact us by email for details. Awards will be made based on the excellence of submitted abstracts, and will take the form of a registration waiver.

As always, the first place to check for travel support is the student's or post-doc's home institution which often has departmental funds to attend conferences. Additionally, scholarships and travel grants are at times available from institutions such as the ones listed below, some of which are specific to women or minorities. Note that many of these institutions do not have publicly announced travel grants, but that funds are sometimes available upon special application or request.

Know of a good source that we have not listed here? Please send an email message to the organizers.
