The bay in Milos is a beautiful body of calm water created as four separate volcanic eruptions formed the island over geologic time. Unlike Santorini, where the central bay is a caldera formed by the collapse of a magma chamber, here, it is a natural bay, and thus the water is shallow, and the bay features some excellent beaches. In this photo, a small fishing skiff has been moored in the bay near the water's edge in Adámas.
